Public Hearing Notice – Federal Funding Policies - September 20, 2023

The Sonoma County Community Development Committee and the Cities and Towns Advisory Committee will hold concurrent public hearings to review proposed revisions to Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Funding Policies for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Low Moderate Income Housing Asset Fund (LMIHAF) programs.

Sonoma County Board of Supervisors approves temporary moratorium on mobile home park rent increases

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors today unanimously approved a temporary moratorium on rent increases in mobile home parks in unincorporated areas. The urgency ordinance took effect immediately and will remain in place until the board amends the existing regulations or until Feb. 29, 2024, whichever occurs first. The moratorium does not apply to mobile home parks within the county’s nine cities.

County of Sonoma to host Town Hall meeting regarding Elderberry Commons transition plan

The County of Sonoma will be hosting a town hall meeting on Monday, May 1 at 6 p.m. to respond to community questions about the transition plan for the Elderberry Commons, formerly known as the Sebastopol Inn. The public will be invited to ask questions during the Zoom-based forum, which will be streamed live on the county’s Facebook page and on YouTube in Spanish.
