This Capital Project and Asset Responsibility Policy is meant to:

1. Define the scope, contents, and responsibilities for the annual five-year Capital Project Plan, which applies to all County facilities and all County departments and agencies responsible for those facilities.
2. Define the responsibility and authority for facility modifications and projects at General Government Facilities only (owned or leased), including what items are normally included in project budgets administered by the General Services Department and who is responsible for the maintenance and replacement of these items after the project is complete.
