Notice of Central Counting Place, Polling Places, and Drop Boxes in the September 14, 2021, California Gubernatorial Recall Election

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Elections Code Section 12109, the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office, 435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa, CA, will be the central counting place for ballots cast in the California Gubernatorial Recall Election, September 14, 2021.

Notice is also hereby given that Vote-by-Mail ballots cast in the September 14, 2021, California Gubernatorial Recall Election will be verified, opened, and processed beginning at approximately 8 a.m.,  August 16, 2021, at the Registrar of Voters Office. The Vote-by-Mail tally will be released shortly after 8 p.m., September 14, 2021.  Tabulation of voted precinct ballots will begin after 8 p.m. on Election Day and will continue until all ballots have been counted. The verifying, opening, processing, and tabulation of all ballots is open to the public.

Notice is further hereby given that the polls will be open on September 14, 2021, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and that the polling places for the voting precincts for your area shall be the places hereinafter designated.

Notice is also hereby given that 20 secure 24/7 ballot drop boxes will be open throughout Sonoma County from August 17, 2021, through 8 p.m. on Election Day, September 14, 2021.
