Hearing to Receive Public Comment on Draft RFP for Ground Ambulance Service

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM, Coastal Valleys Emergency Medical Services Agency (CVEMSA) will conduct a meeting to solicit feedback from stakeholders and the public on the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for Ground Ambulance Service in Sonoma County Exclusive Operating Area 1(EOA-1).   In Summer 2022, the County intends to reissue the RFP that was previously issued in November 2021 and later rescinded in February 2022. 

The draft RFP includes track changes including: 1) revisions recommended by the California Emergency Management Services Agency (throughout the RFP); 2) modification of ALS/BLS Tiered Response language (Page 45); 3) other modifications recommended by CVEMSA.   The track changes and comments reflect edits to the RFP since the last amendment posted on the County RFP portal.  A copy of the draft RFP can be found at: https://share.sonoma-county.org/link/jozse3-wtOo/

Written Comment Period:  On April 11, 2022, CVEMSA announced that it is accepting written comment on the draft RFP.  This written comment period will remain open through 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.  Written comment may be submitted to CVEMSA via email to: Ken.Tasseff@sonoma-county.org or mailed to 1450 Neotomas Avenue, Suite 200, Santa Rosa, CA 95405

This meeting will be a public meeting via Zoom Webinar, beginning with a brief presentation followed by opportunity for timed public comment.  Written comments and verbal comments will be considered in the final draft submitted to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors.
