Beatrice Kinkead BlanchardBeatrice Blanchard comes from a long line of political people, starting with her grandmother, Beatrice Reynolds Kinkead, who picketed the White House in 1917 for women's suffrage, and spent time in the Occoquan Workhouse for her efforts.

After graduating from San Francisco State University, Beatrice explored the world, finding that some of her most important life lessons occurred traveling the Pacific on a tramp steamer.

After years working as a Registered Nurse in various roles around the State, Beatrice has settled in Glen Ellen, and hopes to make a positive and useful contribution to the Commission.
