Notice of Proposed Fee Changes
On March 22, 2022, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will be holding a hearing to consider adjustments to registration fees, permit fees and fees charged for services. Included in the adjustments will be changes to some fees for the Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures. Read full story

GrowerWorkshop Update and Online Continuing Education Options
The Sonoma County Department ofAgriculture/Weights & Measures (AWM) has decided not to host anin-person Grower Workshop again this December. After evaluating other workshop options, wehave decided to collaborate with the UC Cooperative Extension in the UCCE NorthCoast Virtual IPM Seminar in early December. This virtual two half-day workshop is scheduled for December 1 and 2,2021 from 8:00 am to 12:15 pm each day. Read full story

Sonoma County Water Assessment and Agricultural Loss Surveys for 2021 Crop Year
The Agricultural Commissioner’s Office surveys producers when there are significantimpacts to agricultural production due to weather. Based on survey results, a disaster can bedeclared and various assistance programs become available through USDA. Read full story
