SEIU Labor Negotiations Summary
Published: October 26, 2022
The County of Sonoma and SEIU initiated successor contract negotiations with a productive opening session on October 26, 2022. The bargaining teams worked through ground rules for the bargaining process, which included a timeline to have all substantive proposals on the table and details around employee release time and discussed their respective priorities and interests for the new contract. The current Memorandum of Understanding expires on February 28, 2023.
The parties’ next bargaining session is scheduled November 2, 2022.
