Service Employees’ International Union - Local 1021 (SEIU)
Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)
The Service Employees' International Union, Local 1021 represents approximately 2,040 allocated positions and related Extra Help workers in general, accounting, medical and legal clerical & secretarial positions, maintenance, technician, technical, professional, and supervisory positions in spanning almost every department in the County. Refer to Appendix A of the Memorandum of Understanding for a list of job classifications in this Bargaining Unit.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the County of Sonoma and the Service Employees' International Union, Local 1021 is a contract that represents the negotiated agreement on all of the subjects contained in the document for the specified time period.

SEIU Negotiations Public Update
The County and SEIU met for their 16th bargaining session on Wednesday March 1, 2023. The County provided an updated comprehensive proposal and tentatively agreed to increase employees’ boot and shoe allowance.
