WOHLER ROAD BRIDGE CLOSED FOR SEISMIC RETROFIT

Sonoma County’s iconic 103-year-old Wohler Road Bridge officially closed to traffic last week for a long-planned seismic retrofit. Westside Road is also closed near River Road due to a landslide, creating a dead end on the popular cycling route.

Google Maps and Waze now reflect the latest road closures so users will be automatically rerouted with the correct detour. Detours can be inconvenient, but this work will result in a safer, stronger bridge that better serves the community for years to come.
