Message from the County Administrator & Chair
Welcome to the 2022 Combined Fund Drive! It’s a privilege to reach out to all of you as we launch our annual giving campaign, and we invite you to join us in making this the most successful campaign yet!
Our past collective support for County and community-based organizations including the Sonoma Humane Society, the Redwood Empire Food Bank, Valley of the Moon Children’s Home, and the Family Justice Center, as well as dozens more nonprofit partners, now totals more than $1 million. We are grateful to you for your very generous investments in our community through this annual campaign. Our collective efforts and the widespread impact it has on people’s lives reflects the power and strength we bring as a County family, united to make a difference.
For 2022, we are renewing our commitment to the campaign theme United We Rise. The 2021 Portrait of Sonoma County tells the story of two Sonoma Counties – those who have opportunities to prosper and thrive, and those who do not. The challenges faced by thousands of our neighbors have been exacerbated by years of fire disasters and the pandemic. Disproportionate burdens are carried by our communities of color and our most vulnerable residents. By giving together, our impact is greater, and we can help ensure that everyone in our community is lifted up not just to recover, but to live healthy and full lives filled with promise and opportunity.
Thank you for your support, and on behalf of the many nonprofit organizations and individuals you support, thank you!
With appreciation,
Sheryl Bratton
