Starting January 1, 2024, more people will be eligible for full Medi-Cal benefits. If you are 26-49, live in CA, and meet income requirements, you are eligible for coverage! Applying for or using Medi-Cal will not affect your immigration status.

Aliados Health has a team of Certified Enrollment Counselors (CECs) who can assist you to enroll in or renew public (Medi-Cal) or private (Covered California) health insurance.  Our CECs are trained to explain the health insurance selection and enrollment process, to assist you in completing forms and providing required documentation, and assist you with health coverage renewals.

This assistance is confidential and provided at no cost.

  • When you join Medi-Cal, you must choose a primary care provider (PCP). Your PCP is the doctor you go to when you are sick or need a checkup.

Community Clinics

Sonoma County Community Health Centers accept Medi-Cal insurance. 

Many will also help you apply for insurance. If you do not have insurance the Community Health Centers work with you to provide affordable services on a sliding scale.
