2023 - 2026 SCPA Memorandum of Understanding: Article 3: Term of Memorandum
Article 3: Term of Memorandum
This Memorandum of Understanding shall take effect upon approval by the Board of Supervisors, and shall remain in full force and effect, up to and including May 6, 2026. The Memorandum of Understanding shall expire at 11:59 pm on May 6, 2026. Either party shall serve on the other party its written request to commence negotiations for any successor Memorandum of Understanding by December 3, 2025. Negotiations shall commence by January 4, 2026. If neither party notifies the other of its intent to negotiate a successor Memorandum of Understanding by December 3, 2025 the Agreement shall renew automatically from year to year unless either party notifies the other party in writing, prior to any December 3rd, of any year of its desire to modify or terminate this Memorandum.
