Any space rental agreement that exceeds twelve (12) months duration is exempt from space rent control. New mobile home spaces constructed after January 1, 1990, spaces that are not the principle residence of the tenant, park owned mobilehomes, and recreational vehicles that have occupied a mobilehome space less than nine (9) months are also exempt from the provisions of rent control and from administrative fees.
