The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, in an effort to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the county, is strongly encouraging members of the public who wish to participate in the March 17, 2020 meeting to watch it using the live-streaming service and submit public comments via email prior to the meeting.

Seating in the Board Chambers during the March 17, 2020 meeting will be limited because the Board will be observing the recommended social distancing guidelines of 6-foot spacing between individuals.

“Implementing these strategies that create social distance and reduce the close contact of people not regularly together, including limiting gatherings, has proven effective in prior pandemics at delaying rates of transmission and reducing illness from communicable disease,” said Board of Supervisors Chair Susan Gorin.

The social distancing guidelines are safeguards recommended by the Sonoma County Public Health Officer and the California Department of Public Health to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Board of Supervisors meeting can be viewed live
