Meeting Agenda

The agenda is divided into two sections:

  1. Consent Calendar

    These matters include routine financial and administrative actions, they are usually approved by a single majority vote. There will be no discussion on these items prior to voting on the motion unless Board Members or the public request specific items be discussed and/or removed from the Consent Calendar.

  2. Regular Calendar

    These items include significant and administrative actions of special interest and are classified by program area. The regular calendar also includes "Set Matters," which are noticed hearings, work sessions and public hearings.

Addendum

If urgent matters arise after the publication of the regular agenda, there will be an addendum. The addendum will be posted on the agenda Web page by Friday at 5:00 PM the week before the meeting.

Supplemental Materials

Materials related to an item on this agenda submitted to the Board after distribution of the agenda packet are available for public inspection in the Board of Supervisors office during normal business hours:

Agenda Supporting Materials

Most background materials, proposed Board actions and other information are available online, linked from their respective agenda item.

However, due to legal, copyright, privacy or policy considerations, not all materials are posted online.

Materials that are not posted online are available for public inspection at the Board of Supervisors office during normal business hours.

Public Participation

Any member of the public desiring to address the Board on a matter on the agenda:

  • Complete a Speaker Card and hand it to the Clerk of the Board at the beginning of the meeting or prior to the time of discussion on the item you wish to speak to is concluded.
  • After receiving recognition from the chair:
  • Walk to the podium
  • State your name
  • Make your comments
