SIDE LETTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN
COUNTY of SONOMA
AND
THE SONOMA COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATION (SCLEA)
RE: WELFARE FRAUD INVESTIGATOR VEHICLES

This side letter of agreement by and between the County of Sonoma ("County") and the Sonoma County Law Enforcement Association ("Association"), hereinafter collectively called "the parties,” confirm that effective 120 days following adoption of the MOU by the Board of Supervisors the Welfare Fraud Investigators are no longer authorized to retain sole possession of County issued vehicles. By the end of the 120-day period all Welfare Fraud Investigators shall return their County-issued vehicle(s). Subsequent authorization for vehicle usage will be predicated on County of Sonoma Administrative Policy Manual Section 5-1 Vehicle Use Policy and any other relevant County-wide or departmental policy. Prior to the end of the 120 days the Human Services Department will meet and confer with SCLEA over the impacts of this action.
This side letter is subject to and will be in effect during the term of the successor MOU.
