All of our classes and online courses support the Key Competencies and Skills identified by employees as critical for success in County employment.
With the approval of your supervisor you can take any class that will help in your professional development or that you find interesting.
You may also choose to work towards a certificate at the foundational or supervisory level. Look for the orange and blue ovals on the Planning for Success Spiral indicating the required classes for each certification level.
Learn about recent changes to the certificate program by visiting the Certificate Programs homepage.
We also offer over a dozen elective classes in subjects such as computing, writing, grant seeking, and communication-related topics.
