2025 Sonoma Homeless Point-in-Time Count Volunteer Registration Now Open!

Published: December 12, 2024

We are looking for volunteers to help with this year’s count! FridayJanuary 31, 2025 is the 2025 Sonoma Point-in-Time Count for all populations of person’s experiencing homelessness. The Count is a requirement for receiving federal homeless assistance funds and provides critical data used to understand homelessness locally and to support strategic decisions about our programs.
Volunteers are an integral part of the Point-in-Time Count effort; they help support a robust and accurate collection of data on our neighbor’s experiencing homelessness. Volunteers will form a team of friends/family to conduct a visual tally of persons experiencing homelessness across Sonoma County on Friday, January 31st.

Volunteers will work in groups from 5:00am (6:00am in certain areas) to 10:00am, meeting their team members at a central deployment center location before walking/driving their assigned routes and aiding with data collection. Volunteers are asked to bring their vehicles to use in the count if they are able.
