Freeze Warning Issued for Sonoma County

The County of Sonoma issued a freeze warning in response to the National Weather Service’s prediction for freezing overnight lows through Monday, Dec. 5.

In response, temporary extreme weather warming centers are open throughout the county to provide shelter for those experiencing homelessness and those without heat.

Health officials recommend that residents limit time outdoors, as serious medical conditions including hypothermia and frostbite can develop with prolonged cold weather exposure.
