Supervisorial District 1 MapThe 1st Supervisorial District is bounded on the north by Franz Valley School Road, the Napa county line to the east, to the west by Petaluma Hill, Summerfield, Brush Creek, Wallace & Riebli Roads, & San Pablo Bay to the south.

Population is concentrated in the City of Santa Rosa (Bennett Valley, Rincon Valley & the community of Oakmont), the City of Sonoma and the adjacent unincorporated communities of Kenwood, Agua Caliente, Glen Ellen, El Verano, Boyes Hot Springs, Schellville & Vineburg.

Glass Fire Resources

On September 27th, the Glass Fire moved into Sonoma County destroying hundreds of homes. Supervisor Gorin is organizing Glass Fire Survivors by sharing information and hosting virtual meetings--Conversations for Survivors--where survivors can ask questions of representatives from local and state response organizations, local nonprofits and advocacy organizations, and more. Topics covered include debris removal, watershed protection, insurance issues, tree removal, and other topics of interest.

    The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the Bay Area, including Sonoma County, warning of high temperatures today and through the end of the week. Inland temperatures are expected to reach the upper 90s and low 100s.
