Sonoma County to celebrate opening of new service center in Sonoma Valley on January 17
SANTA ROSA, CA | January 08, 2024
Sonoma County Supervisor Susan Gorin and other local leaders will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 17 to celebrate the opening of the county’s new East Sonoma County Services Center.
The Services Center, located at 19080 Lomita Ave., will offer limited appointments with staff for the Department of Child Support Services, Department of Health Services, Department of Human Services and District 1 Supervisor Susan Gorin. Additional county departments may also staff the new services center in the coming months based on community needs and interest.
“The opening of a new service center in Sonoma Valley is cause for celebration for both the county and the entire Sonoma Valley community,” said Supervisor Gorin, who represents the area. “Many residents and families will soon be able to access county services without the need to drive out of town. We’re starting small and will be looking at what services are needed by residents so we can potentially expand offerings in the future. Thank you to the community for their advocacy, and to all the county departments and leaders who made our dream possible.”

Where: 19080 Lomita Ave., Sonoma
Who: District 1 Supervisor Susan Gorin, representatives from Department of Health Services, Human Services Department, Department of Child Support Services and County Administrator’s Office among other departments that will offer service through the new site.
Coming up: On January 26, Supervisor Gorin, her staff and representatives from various county departments will host an open house at the East Sonoma County Services Center in Sonoma Valley from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to welcome residents to the new facility. Light refreshments will be served. The public is welcome.
