This listening session will provide the public an overview of staff's recommended changes to cannabis operator permitting within areas of the unincorporated County outside of the coastal zone, and will collect observations, concerns, and questions as part of the 30 day public comment period which will be summarized for the consideration of the Sonoma County Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors.

Sonoma County is restarting public engagement on the County’s cannabis ordinance with visioning sessions. The sessions will ask “What does a successful cannabis ordinance look like.” Two sessions will be held daily starting Monday, August 9 and ending Thursday, August 12. Each day, the first session will be from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. The second session will be from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The content will be the same for both session.
