Public invited to comment on environmental assessment for Koi Nation casino project at September 27 virtual hearing

The U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs will hold a virtual public hearing Sept. 27 to receive public comments on the Environmental Assessment for the Koi Nation of Northern California’s proposed casino resort project southeast of Windsor.

Board of Supervisors to limit verbal public comments to those attending Sept. 26 meeting in person meeting

The County of Sonoma will allow public comments to be made in person or via email for the next regular Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 26.

Sonoma County to limit verbal public comments to those attending in person at September 19 Board of Supervisors meeting

The County of Sonoma will not be allowing public comments to be made via Zoom for the next regular board meeting on Sept. 19. The change is due to the escalating challenges of maintaining civility among those who participate in the Public Comment portion of the Board meeting via Zoom. These challenges include a series of disruptive racist and hate-filled comments at the Sept. 12 board meeting that prevented the Board from completing its business.
