This week, contract work along Highway 12 between Agua Caliente Road and Boys Boulevard will include grading and pouring curb and gutter south of Depot Road, and continued work on street lights. Work hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm daily, Monday through Friday, with one lane traffic controls and minor delays. Next week, beginning April 11th, the north extension of Boys Boulevard off Highway 12 will be closed to through traffic, as sidewalk work will begin on that section.
Road maintenance work will include culvert replacements along Walling Road and Arnold Drive in the Sonoma area.
On Tuesday, the Bridge crew will be doing maintenance work on the Monte Rio Bridge. Both lanes of traffic will be stopped at times when equipment is being moved, so delays can be expected. The crew is placing message board notifications today. Expect delays and one lane traffic control on Tuesday April 5 between the hours of 7:30 am to 4 pm. On Wednesday and Thursday, the Bridge crew will be doing sidewalk repairs on Crocus Drive in the Temelic subdivision of Sonoma. All other crews will be pothole patching and roadside mowing.
On Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 am to 3 pm, Cal Fire will be assisting road crews with roadside brush removal and tree trimming along Occidental Road west of Highway 116 and Bailache Avenue in Healdsburg. Expect one lane traffic controls.
