2017 Paving ProgramMoves Forward

On June 6th, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors approved the first contracts of the 2017 Pavement Program, kicking off construction on 54.49 miles of roads this summer, as part of a 97 mile program approved by the Board last year. The remaining 42.51 miles are slated for construction in 2018. When the entire 2017 program is completed the County will have paved approximately 300 miles since the summer of 2013, funded with over $65 Million in General Fund Contributions from the Board of Supervisors.

Road Work Update

This week’s current road work includes pothole, sign, and guardrail repair, resurfacing, vegetation removal, clearing debris, installing culverts, retaining wall construction, striping and stenciling. Hauser Bridge Replacement activities continue.

Pre-emptive Road Closures for Potential Flooding

Sonoma Public Infrastructure has published a list of roads which will be closed automatically in the event significant flooding is predicted. Please stay vigilant and do not cross any roads that are flooded.
