Public Notice: Solid Waste Management Program Local Enforcement Agency (LEA)

The Sonoma County Environmental Health Section, Solid Waste Program, acting as the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) is certified by the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) to enforce state laws and regulations at solid waste sites within its jurisdiction. The Sonoma County Behavioral Health Division is hosting a job fair on November 9 to recruit for multiple open clinical positions. Potential candidates are encouraged to pre-apply for a position by November 1. Participants who register, pre-apply and meet the minimum qualifications for the applicable job classification, will be given an opportunity to participate in an in-person interview during the fair on November 9. You are invited to participate in a public forum on homelessness. This forum will feature Michael Gause, Ending Homelessness Program Manager for the Sonoma County Department of Health Services, and Dennis Pocekay, Continuum of Care Board Chair and Petaluma City Council Member.
