License Your Dog
Your dog's license shows the community that your pet is a loved member of your family. It is also proof that your pooch has been vaccinated against rabies. Your license fee helps Sonoma County Animal Services care for over 3,000 homeless animals each year! Thank you for licensing your dog.
License Updates as of July 1, 2020
Town of Windsor: It has been a pleasure to serve the Town of Windsor for many years! As of July 1st, 2020, we pass the reins to our friends at North Bay Animal Services. If you are a Windsor resident, please contact them for all your animal services needs, including licensing:
- Phone: 707-762-6227
- Email:Info@northbayanimalservices.org
If you live in the Town of Windsor and have a current license with us, it will be valid until it expires.
COVID-19 and rabies vaccinations: If your dog needs a current rabies vaccination and you cannot get an appointment with your veterinarian before your license invoice is due, you can pay now without it. Once you are able to get your dog vaccinated, send us a copy of your rabies certificate and we will update our records.
If you have questions, call our office Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00AM to 5:15PM.
