No, we are Sonoma County Animal Services a municipal shelter. We are located at 1247 Century Court in Santa Rosa. You can reach us by phone at 707-565-7100. Open Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm. Kennel Visiting Hours are Tuesday-Sauturday 2pm-4:30pm.

We never euthanize animals for time or space. We accept animals in all medical and behavioral conditions and humane euthanasia may be an option for extreme medical and behavioral or impact public safety issues. We are a municipal sheter bear the responsibility to the public safety and health of the community and above all else, the humane treatment of animals.
Please view our adoptable animals here. You can come to our Kennel Visiting Hours Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-4:30pm. If you cannot come during those times you can call us at 707-565-7109 to make an appointment for adoption. If you find a lost pet in the City of Santa Rosa or in the Unincorporated areas of Sonoma County-
A Note on Cats: SCAS does not accept healthy, altered or ear tipped cats. If the found cat has identification (microchip, Identification tag or is unaltered) SCAS will accept the lost cat during normal business hours at the shelter. Cats brought to the shelter will be evaluated by staff prior to acceptance. If the found cat is injured or ill please contact SCAS for an animal control officer to respond for pickup or take to a 24hr emergency veterinary hospital. Please confine the cat prior to an officer arriving so they do not run away.There are no ordinances pertaining to cats as they are free to roam.
