D’Ayona Jerome

D’Ayona Jerome
Commissioner on Human Rights for District 5
07/19/2022

My name is D’Ayona Jerome. I have lived in Sonoma county for the past three years and have been involved in various protests to support the BLM/ POC community. I'm currently a senior at Analy high school. I've participated in and helped form protests directly after suffering law enforcement brutality firsthand. I plan on going to college and taking a major in psychology. I have gotten into this position to help people who struggle, be heard, and have a voice in our community. I desire to be part of the change and work for true equality. With an actual open door policy, I intend to make the conditions of the forgotten class more humane.

D’Ayona lives in Cazadero with her mother and stepfather. She spends her days raising chickens, painting, hiking, sightseeing, and doing community projects.
