Crisis Stabilization Unit Relocation

Crisis Stabilization Unit Offices

General Services is now Sonoma Public Infrastructure - Website updates coming soon!

This project relocated the existing Norton Psychiatric Emergency Unit into a newly-refurbished 13,542 square foot facility at The Lakes complex on March 7, 2016.  One third of the building was upgraded by the Basin Street Properties to rigorous “I-3” fire and seismic codes to accommodate the secure portion of the facility.  The facility incorporates a revolutionary staff oversight configuration and incorporates many Green features such as LED lighting, shared daylight, high-tech controls, dim-able skylights and CalGreen commissioning.  Six accessible showers are provided for voluntary and non-voluntary clientele.  The medical exam facilities so impressed one of the group’s service partners that they agreed to fund 1.5 full-time employee medical staff for the facility.
