  1. Call to order 4:11 pm
  2. The October 11, 2016 Historical Records Commission minutes were approved as amended.
  3. Budget Discussion
    1. No updates
  4. Continuing Business
    1. Changes to Resolution / By-laws
      1. Joyce sent edits
      2. Deva will check on formatting and with the CAO’s Office, and send out for the Historical Records Commission members to review
    2. Historical Records Commission website
      1. Deva will follow up with IT for status update
    3. Research grants program
      1. Eric passed out application draft
        • Notes:
          1. Remove ‘travel’
          2. Add County Seal / language
          3. Is it possible to have applicants apply for multiple projects?
      2. Eric will email out to Commission
    4. Finding History Day
      1. 3/25/2017
      2. Hiring a graphic designer, review proposal
        • Branding of Finding History Day, use logo in the future
        • Expense approved (after Katherine receives answers to a couple things)
      3. DeTurk Round Barn is $3,000
        • Other expenses will be printing, postage
        • Maybe have sponsored swag
      4. Budget for event set at a not to exceed $8,000
        • Approved on 4,0,1 vote
      5. Deva will request Finding History Day to be added to website
      6. We will look into getting a Finding History Day email address
      7. Save the Date is being drafted
    5. Electronic Records / Onbase
      1. ISD presentation scheduled for January
        • Historical Records Commission to submit questions / wish list for demo
        • Joyce submitted questions – Deva has forwarded to ISD Records Management
    6. Archive Records
      1. Draft Facilities Master Plan presented at Library Commission Meeting
        • Branches prioritized
        • Archives has the lowest priority
        • Strategies to inform Library Commissioners of importance of Archives?
