      1. HRC Commissioners Report
        1. Steve's report:
          • CA State Archives have reopened.  Limiting to 10 patrons.
        2. Eric's report:
          • Spent time working on the CA Counties spreadsheet
        3. Margaret's report:
          • Check in with Deva on the Restrictive Covenant Modification program, student interns, and other possibilities
            • Deva to clarify the new law Assembly Bill (AB) 1466 to create a plan for the program by 7/1/2022.
      2. Library Commissioner Report  
        1. Update by Deborah Doyle:
          • Going to let Ann do the update
        2. Update by Ann Hammond:
          • Library is expanding open hours in January 2022, which includes the History & Genealogy (H&G) Library.  They will be open from 11AM-5PM, Tuesday through Saturday
          • Posted the position for the Librarian III (Supervisor for H&G).
          • Director Hammond had a meeting with the Advocates for the Sonoma County Archives
          • Access to materials at the Archives by request through H&G is looking to begin on December 15, 2021

          1. Strategic Planning
            1. Postpone until more information is known about the Archives.
          2. Collections & Archives Recognition Awards
            1. Sonoma County Historical Society Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon moved to Sunday, March 20, 2022, 11:00AM-2:00PM, Flamingo Hotel
            2. Steve sent out award letters to HRC for review.  Steve to send out the Awardee letters to follow up with phone calls.
            3. Secretary to see if HRC funds may be used for Awardee tickets
          3. Outreach
            1. Update on the 2004 HRC/Landmarks Commission Pamphlet, “ Researching the History of Your Sonoma County Building”:
              1. Update by Margie Purser:
                • Still working on our particular assignments and working on a layout
                • Larger group is meeting next week
            2. Other California County Historical Records Commission
              1. Eric and Gretchen are continuing working on the spreadsheet

          1. Comment from Deborah Doyle:
            1. California Library Association is starting an interest group about Archives and Historical Records.  Committee is thinking of putting a session together.  If you have suggestions or wishes, please let Deborah know.
          2. Sonoma County Heritage Network Meeting, January 8, 2022, 10AM-12PM, Tomales Regional History Center
            1. Katherine Rinehart will be stepping down as Chair.  Looking for someone to Chair the Heritage Network, once a quarter, please contact Steven Lovejoy if interested.
          3. Library Commission meeting, January 3, 2022, 6pm, on ZOOM
