Santa Rosa Man Receives Life Sentence for 2022 Shooting at Mendocino Avenue Taco-Bell
Defendant Brad Adams, 29 years old of Santa Rosa, was sentenced today by Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Troye Shaffer following his August convictions for attempted murder and shooting at an occupied building. Supervisors place firefighting sales tax on March ballot

Sonoma County to transition homeless shelter sites; annual survey shows decrease in homelessness
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors today voted to replace the Emergency Shelter Site at the County campus with housing systems that are longer-term. Sonoma County has purchased three mobile solar-powered electric vehicle charging stations to support zero-emission vehicles and mitigate ongoing climate disruption, consistent with the Climate Action and Resiliency pillar of the County’s strategic plan. EDB to Host Event Exploring Economic Equity in Sonoma County
The Sonoma County Economic Development Board (EDB) is hosting their annual Fall Economic Perspective event on Thursday, October 19th, at Sonoma State University. The October event will feature a keynote address from economist, Dr. William Rodgers III, on the benefits of economic equity and how Sonoma County fares.
