Road Work Update
Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) and overlay paving continue this week. Road Maintenance will be patching potholes, working on bridge decks,completing a culvert, clearing debris, stenciling, and repairing signs. Last construction activities are finalizing the Highway 12 and the Healdsburg IntermodalFacility projects, and traffic signal construction is progressing on Adobe Road and East Washington Street. Scout Camp Road will be CLOSED for the bridge deck to be replaced from 9/19 – 10/14. Vacation Beach Summer crossing will be closed for the season.Lakeville Road tree pruning and removal starts today, 10-11-16. Work hours will be 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Thursday, for approximately seven days. We are working between Old Lakeville #2 & Old Lakeville #3 on Lakeville Road. Alternate routes are recommended. This week’s current pavement work includes Bonded Wearing Course (BWC) paving and road base repairs, traffic signal construction, curb construction, parking lot and pathway grading, shoulder backing, and signal loops. Road Maintenance will be replacing a bridge deck, removing and replacing aculvert, stenciling, striping and temporarily marking pavement for chip seal. Read full story
