2017 Paving ProgramMoves Forward

On June 6th, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors approved the first contracts of the 2017 Pavement Program, kicking off construction on 54.49 miles of roads this summer, as part of a 97 mile program approved by the Board last year. The remaining 42.51 miles are slated for construction in 2018. When the entire 2017 program is completed the County will have paved approximately 300 miles since the summer of 2013, funded with over $65 Million in General Fund Contributions from the Board of Supervisors. County of Sonoma and City of Santa Rosa employees will join forces on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, for the 17th annual Day of Caring event! Tobacco Retail License Renewal

By June 30, 2017, all licensed tobacco retailers located in the unincorporated areas of Sonoma County must renew their Tobacco Retail License from the Sonoma County Health Department in order to continue selling tobacco products (including electronic cigarettes). Read full story

Regional Parks is seeking public input on a proposed mitigated negative declaration/initial study for the Sonoma Valley Regional Park Expansion Master Plan. Comments on the adequacy of the study’s environmental analysis will be accepted through June 12, 2017. Read full story
