Sonoma County Transit running bus services between Monte Rio, Guerneville, Forestville and Sonoma County Fairgrounds

Sonoma County Transit is operating shuttles through tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 10, between lower Russian River areas that could be affected by flood waters and the emergency shelter at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa.

Three buses will be operating, making stops as noted below:

  • Monte Rio at Main Street and Moscow Road departing at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.
  • Safeway at Guerneville, departing at 9, 9:20 a.m., noon, 12:20 p.m., 3 p.m. and 3:20 p.m.
  • Occidental Community Center departing at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.
  • El Molino High School in Forestville departing at 9:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.

Whether these routes continue to run on this schedule past Tuesday will depend on the situation as it evolves on the lower Russian River. For more information, visit the evacuation assistance webpage.
