Support Families in Need and Community Resources

Family, Youth and Children’s Services serves families by working with a variety of community partners to plan and provide supportive services that can reduce family stressors and provide needed support to families.

Family, Youth and Children’s Services is committed to partnering with the community to strengthen and create resilience in families.  Family, Youth, and Children’s Services recognizes that effective prevention services must first and foremost be easily accessible to parents and caregivers, responsive to community needs, provided in family’s home languages and be reflective and complementary to a family’s culture and values.  Family, Youth, and Children’s Services relies on strong partnership with a number of outstanding community-based organizations and gives  funding to these organizations to provide therapy, in home parent education, basic needs support, and support specifically for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  Strengthening families and preventing child abuse takes a village, and we need your help to make it happen.
