As one of the Division’s Climate Resiliency Analysts, Simone Albuquerque manages a wide array of climate-related projects. Her work ranges from tracking and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, to planning landscape-scale resiliency projects, to overseeing climate funds, and more. Previously, Simone worked for the Marin Resource Conservation District planning and implementing multi-beneficial conservation projects in the Estero de San Antonio and Tomales Bay watersheds. With her, she brings over five years of experience in program management and climate resilience and adaptation planning and a passion for innovative solutions to environmental problems. She received her Master of Environmental Science & Management from UC Santa Barbara and a BS in Biology from UC Santa Cruz. |
