Recovery Planning Community Meeting on Wednesday in Petaluma
The County of Sonoma continues to encourage residents to participate in workshops that will gather public input to shape the Recovery and Resiliency Plan to ensure the safety, livelihoods, and economic prosperity of the residents of Sonoma County. We are seeking County employees who are interested in joining existing Schools of Hope tutors in this tutoring program. County employees can volunteer to tutor 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students at the participating school of their choice. Read full story

Sonoma County Receives Award for Digital Response to Wildfires
The County of Sonoma is pleased to announce it hasbeen named the national first place winner by the Center for Digital Government(CDG) and the National Association of Counties (NACo) for the innovative andcollaborative digital response to the October wildfires. The Digital CountiesSurvey Awards recognize counties for their technology policies and practicesand only allocates ten winning spots for counties based on population. SonomaCounty takes home top honors in the 500,000 to 999,999 population category. Read full story
