  • The Department of Emergency Management has 125 Auxiliary Communications Service (ACS) volunteers who supplement the County’s emergency communications capabilities in the event of a disaster. These volunteers are registered Disaster Service Workers who provide administrative, technical and operational support for emergency communications between local and state agencies.

  • Emergency preparedness information including building emergency kits and Go Bags, information for home and business, disaster myths, community neighborhood groups organized for preparedness, and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
