Sonoma County health officer allows some groups option to go maskless indoors
Sonoma County Health Officer Dr. Sundari Mase today amended a health order to allow certain stable groups of people, such as those in gyms, classes and offices, the option of lifting the mandate on wearing masks indoors if they verify that all members of the group are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Sonoma County outlines plan to deliver COVID-19 vaccinations to the 37,000 children age 5 to 11 in county
In tandem with the Sonoma County Office of Education and other community partners, Sonoma County health officials today unveiled plans to deliver free COVID-19 vaccinations to the roughly 37,000 children in the county between the ages of 5 and 11 as soon as the doses are approved by federal regulators. <p>Man receives 16 years, 4 months in state prison for possessing 65 pounds of methamphetamine with intent to sell</p>
<span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Defendant Edgar Ortega-Aguilar, 39 years old of Santa Rosa, was sentenced today by the Honorable Robert Laforge to serve 16 years, 4 months at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation after pleading no contest in August of this year to charges of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.</span> Read full story

<span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">The Sonoma Water Board of Directors today approved its first-ever Climate Adaptation Plan (CAP) that provides a roadmap for the agency as it navigates the impacts of climate change on its infrastructure and operations. Sonoma Water provides drinking water to 600,000 residents, wastewater collection and treatment for 70,000 residents, and flood control to communities in Sonoma and Marin counties. </span> Read full story
