On Monday, September 10th the County of Sonoma will be conducting a SoCoAlert TEST. All Sonoma County residents who are subscribed, and all landlines, will receive a phone call. Sign up at  SoCoAlert.com or call  866-939-0911. On Wednesday, September 12th the County will conduct a Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) TEST. This test will involve the communities of Roseland, Healdsburg, Penngrove, Cotati and Glen Ellen. WEA is an emergency message sent through your mobile carrier, similar to Amber Alerts. No registration is required. As the region rebuilds and builds the housing necessary for our next generation of people and their families, we need to be sure that we're responding to their changing needs and preferences. Starting August 24, 2018,Permit Sonoma will begin implementing our new administrative citation program,supporting our goal of establishing a safe and healthy community. This new programprovides an additional tool for enforcement, enabling the County to enforcevarious codes and ordinances via less stringent enforcement action.
