Sea Otter Beach Day

Doran Beach Road
Bodega Bay, CA
Parking: $7 or free with Regional Parks Pass
Registration Required: No
Please join Lynda Hopkins and District 5 for a "Day at the Beach" on September 3 from 10 a. m. to 2 p.m. Individuals from Kashia Band of Pomo Indians of the Stewards Point Rancheria, Bodega Marine Lab, The Marine Mammal Center, Sea Otter Savvy and other local organizations will be located at the end of Doran Beach Road, in front of the "We Were Here" mural to provide information related to ocean habitats, marine life, abalone, and the southern sea otter. From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. there will be a sea otter sandcastle competition judged by Supervisor Hopkins.
Parking at this location requires a $7 fee or a valid regional park pass. Discounted passes are available through various programs, including general memberships, senior discounts, and specialized passes for persons with disabilities, low-income residents, and distinguished veterans.
