Healthy Apple Program

The Healthy Apple Program is a FREE program for child care educators to assess their nutrition and physical activity practices, get support to make improvements, get free training, and be recognized for meeting best practices. The goal is to empower and help them promote and establish lifelong healthy habits for children. Register and get started today!

Benefits to Participating in Healthy Apple

  • Free trainings to improve your program with prizes for attending. Prizes include physical activity equipment, picture books, and healthy eating supplies.
  • Playground stencils: We will come out to your daycare center or home daycare and help you paint fun hopscotch and other designs that promote physical activity. All paint and supplies included. 
  • Annual Awards: Once a year, all Healthy Apple participants are considered for Bronze, Silver, or Gold Healthy Apple Awards in the areas of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and/or Gardens. The program recognizes award winners at a public awards ceremony.
