Public Comment Readiness Checklist
Provided that a business need is demonstrated, sufficient human and financial resources are available, and approval from the Information Systems Department Chief Information Officer (CIO) or Information Systems Provider (ISP) has been received, a Local Agency or Department may permit public comments on its social media sites.
Local Agencies and County Departments, as defined by the Policy for Official Use of Social Media Sites - Administrative Policy 9-1, wishing to allow public comments on social media channels should complete and submit the following checklist for approval.
Submitting the Checklist for Review and Approval
- Download and complete the Public Comment Readiness Checklist (Word: 51 kB)
- Prepare additional supporting documentation if necessary
- Submit the Public Comment Readiness Checklist with any additional supporting documentation to the appropriate Information Service Provider requesting a review:
