Energy and Sustainability at the County of Sonoma

Rebuilding for Efficiency, Comfort, and Resilience

A Better Building by Design

Published: February 16, 2018

New construction is the best time to build in the features that deliver high performance and durability.  By design, the obvious benefit of a new home built in compliance with current codes is the energy cost savings for the homeowner.  Greater insulation, better building tightness, more durable construction, and highly efficient heating and cooling systems are not only required but easier and cheaper to include when you're building the structure.

We invite you to join the County of Sonoma, Energy and Sustainability Division on February 27, 2018 for a free workshop to learn about the topics including:

  • What is Energy Code and how will it affect my project
  • Considerations for your design team
  • Solar PV Technology and battery storage
  • Rebates and incentives that may be available to you
  • No-cost consulting and project planning*

To RSVP call 707.565.6470 or email GSenergy@sonoma-county.org
