Board of Supervisors adopts temporary 45 percent reduction of local cannabis cultivation tax rates
The County of Sonoma Board of Supervisors this week agreed to amend the Cannabis Business Tax ordinance to reduce the fiscal year 2021-2022 cannabis cultivation tax rates by 45 percent through June 30, 2023. The reduced rates will be retroactive to July 1, 2021 and are intended to mitigate financial hardship for local operators. Read full story

The County of Sonoma Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector's office will temporarily close to the public beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 through Friday, April 3, in an effort to protect employees and the community by limiting person-to-person contact to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
