Early in-person voting begins this weekend for November 5 General Election

Early in-person voting for the November 5 General Election will begin this weekend in Sonoma County, Registrar of Voters Deva Marie Proto reminded voters today. Seven Vote Centers will be open for 11 consecutive days from Saturday, October 26 to Election Day, Tuesday, November 5. Hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Election Day itself when the hours will be extended from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Read full story

Standard deadline to register to vote in November 5 General Election is October 21

The standard deadline to register to vote in the upcoming Nov. 5 General Election is Oct. 21, Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Deva Marie Proto reminded residents today. However, eligible voters who miss this deadline still have the option to “conditionally register and vote” in person through Election Day at the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office or at any Vote Center. Sonoma County Housing Authority to accept applications for Project-Based Voucher lotteries

The Sonoma County Housing Authority will accept applications for one- and two-bedroom Project-Based Vouchers waitlist lotteries from November 1 through November 30. Passenger traffic at Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport was up 4 percent from 2022 to 2023 and is up 15 percent so far this year, according to data shared with the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.
