Road Maintenance Update 1-11-16

Alternateroutes are advised on Lakeville Road between State Highways 116 and 37, southof Petaluma, as treework will take place today until 3 pm,causing delays. Road crews in Sonoma andCotati were busy this weekend responding to down trees. This rainy week,the work crews will be filling potholes, cleaning culverts and storm drains,cutting roadside vegetation, blading rock from slides and repairing guardrails. Read full story

Road Maintenance Update 12-28-15

This week projects include sanding roads to prepare for icy conditions, safety work at Lakeville Road's eucalyptus grove, pothole repair and roadside vegetation work, a Cal Fire crew on Riebli Road, culvert cleaning in the South and West county areas, storm drain work on Graton Road, guard rail repairs by the Bridge crew and sign maintenance by the Traffic crew. Volunteer to coach seniors for an award-winning, fallprevention program, A Matter of Balance - Managing Concerns about Falls. Teach older adults whohave concerns about falling how to reduce their fear of falling and safely increasetheir activity levels. Train as a facilitator to conduct these eight,two-hour sessions at locations countywide.
