Michael joined the County of Sonoma in August 2022 as an Administrative Analyst and Ombudsman. He brings his knowledge of government processes after six years as a Deputy County Counsel. His education focused on environmental and land use matters, after which he spent many years honing his analytical, problem solving and communication skills while practicing law. As ombudsman for the Russian River Pathogen TMDL, Michael now combines his experience with his enthusiasm for improving the relationship between humans and their natural environment. Michael looks forward to working with the community to help preserve the health and resiliency of the County’s water resources.
